Renault’s Duster has been a great success with over 21000 having been sold since it was introduced in South Africa. Renault have announced the most recent update ad the Duster TechRoad.
The TechRoad brings new styling to the Duster, with new headlights which include DRLs, a more bold and musculars line and diamond cut wheels with blue caps. Inside the TechRoad gets better seats with blue detailing and blue accents to the trim. Controls have been improved and the Duster gets the most up to date version of Apple’s CarPlay and Android Auto along with an improved multimedia system.
The New Duster is of course loaded with active and passive safety technology such as ABS with EBD which works in conjunction with EBA (Emergency Brake Assist) to allow the drive full control in all braking conditions. Rear Park Distance Control and Hill Start Assist are also part of the package.
The Duster comes with a choice of engines, the one you want is the 1,5dCi, but you can choose the 1,6 6v petrol motor should you wish to. A 6-speed Dual-Clutch EDC Automatic is available with the 1,5 motor and is so well matched that you will obtain the same fuel consumtion as you would with the manual gearbox.
As is standard across Renault’s entire product range, the New Renault Duster Model range comes standard with a 5-year/150 000km mechanical warranty and a 6-year anti-corrosion warranty. Services take place at 15 000km intervals, and a standard 3-year/45000km service plan applies.
