Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love the Lord, to them that are called according to His Purpose.

Nehemiah 8:10
And He said to them, go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet send a portion to them who have nothing prepared. For this day is Holy unto the Lord, neither be ye sorry for the Joy of the Lord Is your strength.
Hope ~ to have it, is to want an outcome that makes your life better in some way, to envision a better tomorrow and start taking necessary steps to that which is envisioned. The irony of hope is that it connects you to your Higher Self as it ignites faith to prevail whatever life’s vicissitudes. It keeps you courageous where you could have easily succumbed to despair.

Here we are taking a spiritual path teaching our minds to hold on to positive thoughts when what we observe and experience is nothing short of unabated thoughts of fear, anxiety, guilt, uncertainty, regret and negative expectation and all that dims the light of hope and expectation.

This should be of course our focus when normal life is suddenly not so normal.

This year the global covid pandemic has seen the world spinning out of balance and order in almost every level.
Even if you have not experienced some form of chaos and disruptions or adversity yourself but it’s been hard to what has been happening to family, friends and others in the world.

Now the vital question is how do we practice being positive in the midst PCM uncertainty and chaos. What is our relationship with the present moment. Particularly when there is an added burden of added nerve wrecking fear of an infectious disease hovering over us globally.

Even with more time in our hands, it’s even harder to practice self-improvement techniques.
When we are collectively experiencing anxiety.
Yet this is the time that we need to connect to our Higher selves more than ever before and practice self-improvement for self-preservation.

It takes practice and commitment to form a habitual program of self-improvement and aligning oneself to Higher Self.

“In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity” Sun Tzu

When we understand that all things work together for our good. Then our attitude takes a different turn from why me Lord to what is this chaos trying to unfold and what good is inherent in this chaos or negativity. What am I suppose to learn, to unlearn and learn.

In closing may I prescribe these virtuous nuggets of light to help get traction to power and sanity.

I suggest this spiritual path to follow;

. Create a list of quotes, scriptures, sayings, affirmations in and stick them on sticky notes, bedside, fridge and anywhere else convenient. Keel them nearby for a quick refresher anytime you need them.
. leave yourself reminders where you will be able to see them.

. Create a space to meditate, pray, chant positive affirmation and listen to inspirational music…

With this mindset, certain heart set you will begin to make the great discovery that you are stronger than your perceived weaknesses, and that all the power of the spontaneous Goodness, Joy, Abundance, Happiness, Peace, Creativity, Luminance its all in you, waiting to escape and express itself through you. Just tilt your dish to the source of light and find hope in the midst of chaos.

May the Joy of the Lord keel you fueled and hold you from falling. Amen.
